Ensure the compliance of the PMO and its initiatives with relevant policies, regulations, and standards, including the application of the Expenditure & Project Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) methodology, and develop and monitor governance frameworks to enhance transparency, efficiency, and alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities
- Develop and update governance and compliance policies and procedures within the PMO.
- Ensure that projects and initiatives comply with the EXPRO methodology.
- Monitor the implementation of governance processes and prepare periodic compliance reports.
- Review project documents (charters, plans, reports) to verify alignment with approved standards.
- Enhance organizational maturity in project management through effective governance frameworks.
- Contribute to the design of KPIs to measure compliance and quality in project management.
- Provide guidance and support to PMO staff and initiative managers on governance and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits related to projects and governance.
- Track and integrate EXPRO updates and circulars into organizational policies.
- Participate in building team capabilities through workshops and specialized training in governance and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s in Project Management or Governance is preferred). • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, governance, and compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of the EXPRO methodology and related governance frameworks.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, P3O, PMI-RMP, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare accurate and reliable reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
