STE -Finacle Application Production Support for Banking Project
Responsibilities
- Production Issue Handling: Take ownership of all Finacle production issues, ensuring timely analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution in line with defined SLAs .
- Deployment & Bug Fixes: Manage and execute production deployments, including bug fixes, patches, and configuration changes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations .
- Issue Analysis & Coordination: Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and collaborate with reporting teams, business users, and technical teams to resolve incidents effectively .
- Proactive Monitoring: Continuously monitor application health, performance, and availability, taking preventive actions to avoid potential disruptions .
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for issue escalation, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring clear communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and deployment activities for audit and knowledge-sharing purposes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance system reliability and support efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc., M.Sc., BCA, MCA).
Essential skills
- Experience includes handling day-end activities such as EOD/BOD at the bank's data center.
- Good knowledge of various Finacle modules and banking operations such as Inventory, Customer Account, Cheque Book Maintenance, Stop Payment, Loans, Interest Concepts, Account Opening/Closure, Demand Draft/Banker Cheques, Clearing (Inward/Outward), Term Deposit, Tax Deduction at Source, Collateral Linkage, Term Loan, Guarantee, Remittance, Aadhaar Linking, NEFT, RTGS, Mobile Banking, Net Banking (IBTA), NPA Module, Locker Module, Batch Jobs, Calendar Marking (DCTM), and EOD/BOD processes.
- Hands-on experience on activities of Production environments.
- Technical skills include SQL and UNIX, monitoring server space (Mount Point), and troubleshooting ATM transaction issues.
- Experience in NEFT/RTGS related issue resolution.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Finacle Core Banking (version 10x or higher) in a production environment .
The candidate should have over 5years of experience in Finacle Application Support, specifically with Finacle 10x version or higher.
