Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager – Events / Carpentry to oversee and manage the complete production process of carpentry works for exhibitions, events, retail fit-outs, and custom builds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading production teams, coordinating with design and project departments, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and control carpentry production activities for exhibitions, events, and interior projects.
Manage and supervise workshop staff including carpenters, painters, and fabricators.
Coordinate with project managers and designers to understand production requirements and deadlines.
Monitor material stock levels and coordinate procurement to ensure timely availability of resources.
Ensure all production output meets quality and safety standards.
Create and implement production schedules, workflows, and work allocation.
Manage fabrication timelines to ensure timely delivery, installation, and dismantling of event structures.
Oversee installation activities at event sites, ensuring adherence to project plans.
Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order.
Maintain cost efficiency by optimizing material usage and labor productivity.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop and on-site.
Continuously improve production methods and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in carpentry production management, specifically for exhibitions, events, or fit-out industries.
Strong technical understanding of carpentry joinery, event structures, and custom builds.
Proficient in reading technical drawings and translating them into production plans.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of materials (MDF, plywood, laminates, etc.) and fabrication methods.
Familiarity with production software/tools and MS Office.
Valid UAE or GCC driving license is an advantage (if applicable).
