Job Purpose
This role is to lead Enterprise risk management activities including identification, analysis, evaluation and proper mitigation of risks, formulation and monitoring of risk treatment plans, and ensuring the proper identification, analysis and monitoring for risk-related indicators and internal controls.
Key Accountabilities
1 Lead the execution of Internal control strategy that aligns with the RCU's overarching goals and objectives.
2 Lead the development and maintenance of governance documentation that outlines clear policies, risk appetite and tolerance, procedures, and controls to guide risk management practices.
3 Lead the development of annual Risk Context to cover all emerging trends and changes to ensure the proper relevance and quality of all ERM activities
4 Lead risk assessment processes to identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks that could impact the department's strategic and operations direction.
5 Lead the identification of Entity Level, Process Level and IT General Controls and their associated risks, through a comprehensive assessment and implementation of the Internal Control Framework across all RCU sectors.
6 Lead the recording and reporting of all the issues faced by RCU, ensuring that the results are linked to operational risks.
7 Lead the process of identifying, analyzing, managing and reporting the Strategic/Operational Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and Key Control Indicators (KCIs).
8 Lead the periodic monitoring of all risks and their relevant treatments to obtain frequent updates on the risk exposure.
9 Lead the collaboration with cross-functional teams to effectively integrate the risk assessment process into departmental operations.
10 Lead the periodic reporting of the results of all ERM activities to the required committees and individuals.
11 Lead the ensuring of compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, and industry best practices in risk management.
12 Lead the development and implementation of the annual training plan for all Sectors.
13 Lead the continuously reviewing, enhancing, and optimizing the capital project risk management framework to align with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and organizational objectives.
14 Perform any other job-related duties required by the direct manager.
