Job Description
- Pick up / Drop hotel guests at predetermined locations and predetermined times in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Duties include operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy.
- Assist guests in the handling of luggage and large packages.
- The driver may open the car door for guests.
- Educate passengers with regard to local information.
- Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary.
- Fuelling the vehicle.
- Ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
- Documenting customer usage.
- Preparing trip reports.
- Preparing accident and incident reports as necessary.
- Assisting guests in and out of the vehicle.
- Providing other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service.
- Should be familiar with the roads and landmarks in the UAE (Especially Dubai).
- Should also be knowledgeable of all local rules of the road.
- Co-ordination and information with the Concierge, Front Office and other departments.
- To effectively handle all guest requests.
- He/she is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.

- Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested
- Review and update the Logbook.
- Be smart, well groomed and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition all the times.
- Report regularly on happening to FOM/Doirector of Operations.
- Maintain associate relations.
- Resolve guest complaints.
- Ensure the services are up to the required standard.
- Check hotel situation, occupancy, functions, groups and VIPs.
- Attend training classes as per schedule
- Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
- Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality, 1 – 3 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel
