Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning function for all projects, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's strategic objectives and timelines.
- Develop and implement innovative planning strategies that enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to assess project feasibility and outline comprehensive action plans.
- Manage interactions with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and secure necessary approvals.
- Foster relationships with industry partners, advisors, and community stakeholders to enhance project development efforts.
- Monitor project performance, providing insights and adjustments when necessary to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Champion sustainability initiatives and ensure all projects meet environmental and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and board members as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in planning within large-scale development projects.
- Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and the environmental review process.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Background in entertainment, tourism, or large-scale infrastructure project development is an advantage.
