We are seeking a knowledgeable Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure seamless end-user computing experiences. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving IT issues efficiently in both on-site and remote environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory.
- Install and update operating systems, applications, and security patches.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
- Document incidents, solutions, and IT procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, IT Support Technician, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote desktop tools.
