Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Designer to join our Anchor Assets Department for the NEOM The Line project. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing design solutions for a variety of high-profile infrastructure and building projects. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop innovative design concepts for Anchor Assets within The Line.
Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation).
Ensure all designs comply with project requirements, international standards, and local regulations.
Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating revisions as needed.
Prepare presentations and visualizations to communicate design ideas to project teams and clients.
Support the project management team by providing technical expertise and resolving design-related issues during construction.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related design field.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a design role, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or MicroStation .
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and completed projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience working on projects in the Middle East is a plus.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles.
