Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and resilient Design Review Committee Secretary to lead and support a near-weekly design governance process for SD architecture and engineering projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinate and manage Design Review Committee meetings: schedule, prepare agendas, collate design packages, and accurately record minutes.
Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations that clearly articulate design concepts and satisfy executive-level review.
Review submission packages to ensure completeness, alignment with review criteria, and readiness for presentation.
Track actions, sign-offs, and follow-ups across internal and external stakeholders, enforcing accountability against deadlines.
Act as the main liaison among project teams, design managers, and executive leadership.
Maintain version control and documentation of decisions, feedback, and design revisions.
Identify and address potential risks to the review schedule and workflow, proposing proactive solutions.
Support the enhancement of committee operations and continuous improvement of governance practices.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in architecture, engineering, or project governance roles, with direct support for design review or project coordination processes.
Proven experience in design governance, architectural/engineering reviews, or project coordination within infrastructure or construction environments.
Deep understanding of the architectural and engineering design lifecycle and document workflows.
Exceptional organization, time management, and ability to juggle competing priorities under pressure.
Proven track record of navigating complex organizations and driving outcomes amid challenges.
Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, comfortable interacting with senior executives, consultants, and designers.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with Aconex, SharePoint, or similar tools is a plus.
Excellent written communication skills and a high level of accuracy in note-taking, tracking, and reporting.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
Professional training or certification in Document Control, Governance, or Project Coordination is a plus.
