The Chief Architect is accountable for the end-to-end technical delivery of the CCC Technology & Operations transformation program. This role serves as the technical authority and design owner, responsible for shaping the integrated architectural vision across all CCC platforms and ensuring alignment with the business strategy. The Chief Architect leads the project’s team of architects and consultants, manages cross-domain design decisions, and acts as the primary technical liaison with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
This role plays a critical part in driving the strategic outcomes of the AIOps transformation, ensuring architectural cohesion, technology alignment, and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the end-to-end solution architecture covering all CCC domains including monitoring, observability, ITSM, automation, and analytics.
- Provide architectural oversight and governance for tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, BMC MainView, SolarWinds, Grafana, and Elastic Stack.
- Lead the technical delivery lifecycle, ensuring designs are robust, scalable, secure, and meet all defined Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
- Manage and mentor the team of solution architects, observability architects, and platform consultants, ensuring consistency across all design workstreams.
- Act as the single point of technical escalation and final decision-maker on architecture trade-offs and technology selections.
- Drive architecture reviews, enforce compliance with enterprise standards, and ensure cloud/on-prem strategies are aligned with long-term IT vision.
- Lead technical communication with executive stakeholders, translating complex architectural discussions into business-aligned outcomes.
- Ensure architectural choices contribute directly to the sCCCessful delivery of AIOps objectives, including automation, predictive insights, and real-time decision support.
- Support vendor evaluations, tool rationalization, and integration planning across legacy and next-gen platforms.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with a proven track record in leading complex, large-scale transformation programs.
- Deep expertise in hybrid enterprise IT environments, command centers, or NOC/SOC architecture.
- Strong technical background across monitoring, observability, ITSM, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems integration.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing architecture teams, consultants, and multi-vendor delivery environments.
- TOGAF-certified (or equivalent enterprise architecture certification) preferred.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills
