Job Description
Assystem Radicon is looking for a dynamic and experienced Saudi National to join our team as a Business Development Specialist in the Site and Environmental Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or business, with a solid understanding of the local market and regulatory landscape in Saudi Arabia. This role is key to identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities across site development, environmental consultancy, and infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy
Identify and pursue new business leads in the fields of environmental consulting, site investigation, compliance, permitting, and development planning.
Create and implement business development strategies to expand Assystem Radicon’s footprint in both public and private sector projects.
Monitor Vision 2030 initiatives and megaprojects to align BD efforts with national priorities (e.g., NEOM, Red Sea, RCJY, SEC).
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Develop strong professional relationships with clients, partners, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Represent the company in client meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and governmental platforms.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and client representatives to ensure alignment of expectations and deliverables.
Proposal Management
Lead the preparation of proposals, pre-qualifications, and bids for environmental and infrastructure projects.
Collaborate closely with technical teams, proposal writers, and commercial staff to ensure high-quality, tailored submissions.
Track RFPs and tender opportunities on platforms like Etimad and client-specific portals.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Provide ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
Maintain updated records of business leads, client interactions, and ongoing opportunities.
Prepare business development reports and updates for senior management.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, Industrial, or equivalent) or Business Administration.
MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in engineering or environmental consulting.
Strong knowledge of the Saudi market and working experience with government entities, municipalities, and giga-projects.
Proven track record of securing new business and building strategic client relationships.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English.
Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
Familiarity with government tendering systems (Etimad, NEOM portal, etc.)
High level of initiative, organization, and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); CRM experience is a plus.
Additional Information
**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
