We're looking for a Business Continuity Manager!
Key Responsibilities
Support the design, development, and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) aligned with the organization’s needs and objectives.
- Assist in conducting regular risk assessments, Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), and continuity capability evaluations.
- Ensure all Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities comply with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., SAMA, GDPR, AML/KYC).
- Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, guidelines, and best practices related to BCM and risk management.
- Work closely with the risk management team to help identify, assess, and mitigate organizational risks.
- Support the integration of BCM practices into the broader enterprise risk management framework.
- Provide input and analysis to help enhance risk mitigation strategies and continuity planning.
- Prepare regular updates and reports on BCM and risk management activities for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Develop and facilitate BCM-related training sessions and awareness initiatives for employees across the organization.
- Coordinate and participate in regular drills and exercises to validate the effectiveness of BCPs and DRPs.
- Support response efforts during business disruptions, helping coordinate recovery activities and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews by gathering data, identifying gaps, and supporting the implementation of improvements.
- Collaborate with various departments and external partners to ensure alignment and support for continuity initiatives.
- Assist in preparing reports and materials for the BCM committee and senior leadership to communicate the status of continuity efforts.
- Participate in ongoing reviews and enhancements of BCM processes and documentation to strengthen organizational resilience.
- Monitor emerging risks and industry trends to support the continuous evolution of the organization’s BCM strategy.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
- CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- CISA, CISSP, CFE (highly desirable).
- 1 to 2 years in BCM, disaster recovery, and risk management.
- Proven experience in developing and managing BCPs and DRPs.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (SAMA, GDPR, AML/KYC) is highly desirable.
