Job Title: Heavy Bus Driver
Department: Transportation / Operations
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Reports to: Transport Supervisor / Maintenance team
Job Purpose:
To operate heavy buses in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner to transport passengers according to company policies, traffic laws, and scheduled routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy buses safely and responsibly along assigned routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safety of passengers during boarding, transit, and disembarkation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure roadworthiness (e.g., brakes, tires, lights, fuel, oil, and safety equipment).
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the maintenance or transport supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle interior and exterior.
- Follow all traffic laws, road signs, and company driving policies.
- Maintain accurate records such as daily logbooks, trip sheets, fuel logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Assist passengers with boarding and seating as needed, especially the elderly or disabled.
- Handle emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and follow proper emergency procedures.
- Adhere to time schedules without compromising safety.
- Ensure customer service standards are upheld during interaction with passengers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid heavy bus driving license (e.g., KSA – Category 6, Qatar – Heavy Vehicle, etc.).
- Minimum [2–5] years of experience operating heavy buses.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle troubleshooting.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in [English/Arabic/other language as required].
- Physically fit and able to sit for extended periods.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and road conditions.

Working Conditions:
