Fairmont the Red Sea, located in the beautiful coastal city of Umluj, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Beverage Manager to join our luxury hospitality team. As the Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving innovation in our beverage program.
- Develop and implement innovative beverage programs that align with our luxury brand standards and guest preferences
- Manage and optimize beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage
- Create and update beverage menus, including pricing strategies to maximize profitability
- Train, supervise, and mentor bar staff to ensure high standards of service and product knowledge
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and liquor regulations
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions on beverage offerings and promotions
- Manage beverage costs and contribute to overall financial performance of food and beverage operations
- Cultivate relationships with suppliers and stay informed about industry trends and new products
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in beverage management or related role, preferably in luxury hospitality
- In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, with sommelier and/or mixology certifications preferred
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful beverage programs
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Knowledge of food and beverage pairing principles
- Familiarity with local and international beverage regulations
- Ability to stay current with beverage trends and industry innovations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
