Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a forward-thinking Director - Engineering to lead our engineering functions in the development and implementation of innovative projects that define the future of entertainment and culture. This role is crucial as we embark on creating world-class attractions and experiences in Qiddiya.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all engineering activities related to the development of attractions and infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of engineering solutions into overall project plans
- Establish project management frameworks, methodologies, and standards for engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality assurance, and safety protocols
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks associated with engineering disciplines
- Nurture relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to facilitate successful project outcomes
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field
- 10+ years of engineering management experience in large-scale infrastructure or entertainment projects
- Proven track record of successfully leading diverse engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, project management methodologies, and relevant codes and standards
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement
- Experience in the entertainment industry or large-scale attractions is highly desirable
