Job Description: Assistant Sales Manager
An Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in overseeing the sales team’s operations, providing training, tracking performance metrics, and assisting in strategy development to achieve sales targets.
They collaborate closely with other department heads, such as the finance manager, customer service manager, or marketing manager, to create a department budget, boost sales through marketing initiatives, and address client complaints.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing sales plans.
Guide and train the sales team for optimal performance.
Track, report, and refine sales performance metrics.
Strengthen relationships with key clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor the sales team’s daily activities and adherence to company policies.
Collaborate effectively with the marketing, product, and customer service departments.
Representing the company at industry events and gaining market insights.
Monitor stock levels and predict future sales trends.
Requirements:
It is preferable to have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a similar profession.
Proven success in sales and customer service.
Capable of using every Microsoft Office program.
