Duties and Responsibilities
As Host Transportation Coordinator, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient transportation schedules and routes for employees.
- Coordinate with transport vendors, shuttle/bus operators, and drivers to ensure reliable service.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure punctuality and address route or scheduling issues.
- Liaise with external transportation providers for service agreements and renewals.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control for transportation services.
- Ensure all transportation activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Oversee vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and driver certifications.
- Develop and enforce emergency response procedures for transportation incidents.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee transportation inquiries and complaints.
- Provide information to prepare an expenditure budget for the transportation.
- Assist with variety of host events and initiatives in addition to other administrative duties.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Host Transportation Coordinator, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
Diploma or equivalent in Business, preferably in Human Resources and at least 1 year experience in a similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
Technical skills include advanced MS Office, Outlook platforms.
Fluent in English; I understand that Arabic as additional language is preferred.
