Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate projects for environmental impact and sustainability opportunities.
- Design and implement environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis related to environmental regulations and best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for compliance with sustainability standards.
- Engage with project teams to integrate sustainability into project planning and execution.
- Communicate sustainability progress and initiatives to stakeholders and clients.
- Lead training sessions to educate staff on sustainability practices and environmental compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in environmental sustainability or engineering within the construction industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of environmental policies, sustainability standards, and assessment methodologies.
- Experience in performing environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and drafting sustainability reports.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis related to sustainability metrics.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Certifications in sustainability-related fields (e.g., LEED, ENVISI) are highly advantageous.
