Master-Works is seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Engineer - webMethods (Developer) to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and development expertise for our webMethods integration solutions. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance existing systems, and implement effective integration solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to webMethods integration solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing webMethods applications and integrations, implementing enhancements and upgrades as needed.
- Develop and implement new integration solutions using webMethods tools, including Integration Server, Broker, and Designer.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for integration projects.
- Monitor system performance and integrity, providing recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, design specifications, and support-related documentation.
- Train and support client users in the effective use of webMethods integration solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest webMethods features and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance support and development efforts.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in webMethods development and support.
- Solid understanding of webMethods components, including Integration Server, Broker, and Adapter technologies.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services, API management, and messaging protocols.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Familiarity with application servers and database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
