Guide and provide expertise in Rubber lining, Acid proof lining, Refractory & FRP lining repair work assigned to central workshop form different section of plant. Plan for pending jobs, Supervising the Contractor supervisor responsible for above service.

Job/project reporting in a concise timely manner.

Participate and prepare JSA and risk assessment meetings and ensure compliance to all the safety requirement envisaged for the job. Ensure all work meets Company HSE policy.

Verification of quality and reliability of work executed through the contractors and ensure that it is in line with business requirement and of jobs and verification of contractor time sheets, quantity of job and invoices.

Provide guidance and expertise to respective service providers / supervisor in line with operational objectives and company policy

Ensures that all work is carried out in accordance with approved safety standards and work procedures

Participates in job safety analysis, lifting plan and other similar activities for the execution of jobs

Supervises contract maintenance resources to meet peak requirements including plant shutdowns and turn around

Works to achieve maintenance KPI’s of the workshop and promotes continuous improvement

Coaches and develops team members to promote individual growth and promotes internal succession in line with Saudization objectives

Assists in the development of work procedures and training materials

Follows the workshop maintenance work flow process and quality procedure

Ensures the necessary labour, materials and tools are available to execute scheduled work

Works closely with planning and plant personnel to ensure priority work is executed and manages the work order “backlog” including Receiving and closing of work orders in Oracle

Ensure follow up of the job procedure and quality procedure to ensure quality of job and reliability requirement

Participates in Emergency Response activities as required

Ensures that all assigned personnel (including contractors) are fully briefed on the Company's HSE regulations and adhere to them

Ensures all work is authorized and carried out in compliance with the safe work permit system

Participates in safety audits in the plant and workshop including contractor lay down area to ensure compliance to HSE policies

Carries out other similar or related duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma   or degree in  Rubber Technology

Minimum Experience:

Min 6-7 years’ maintenance experience in maintenance of rubber lining, acid proof tiles /brick lining refractory lining ,FRP piping ,vessel repair work etc.    in oil refinery / petro chemical / chemicals or fertiliser  processing industry including senior supervisory level experience

Skills:

Computer literate / PC application experience. Computer literate/PC application

Good communication skills in English
