Job Description
- Develop and review structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
- Perform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced software tools
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction documents
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale rail projects
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 and STAAD.Pro
- Strong skills in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and standards, including familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong project management abilities and experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and data analysis
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Willingness to travel to construction sites within Saudi Arabia as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently
