Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a skilled and dynamic Senior Specialist - IT Change and Release Control to join our innovative team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the change and release processes within the IT department, ensuring that all changes to the IT environment are executed smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to business operations. Your expertise will be essential in streamlining processes and enhancing the overall quality of IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain IT change management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Review, assess, and validate change requests for risk, conflicts, and business impact.
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency CAB (ECAB) meetings to ensure proper evaluation and approvals.
- Monitor high-risk and emergency changes to ensure timely execution and compliance.
- Maintain a forward schedule of changes to prevent conflicts and minimize service disruptions.
- Ensure alignment of change control processes with internal policies, regulatory frameworks, and audit standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of change requests, approvals, and implementation details.
- Generate and analyze reports on change management performance, identifying trends and improvement areas.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and process insights.
- Coordinate change activities with IT teams, business units, and external partners.
- Communicate change status, risk assessments, and impact clearly to stakeholders.
- Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) to assess success and identify lessons learned.
- Continuously enhance change management processes through feedback, automation, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT change management or IT service management roles.
- ITIL Foundation certification (required); advanced ITIL or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management).
