Senior Piping Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Piping Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Planned Start Date: to be confirmed

Contract Duration: 12 months

Normal services days on location (6 working days per week)

Residential, Single status

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Refinery OR Petrochemical experience
• The position requires to represent the project on piping related matters with the below skills and knowledge.
• Strong experience in Refining and Petrochemicals projects in the subject matter.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience of the piping discipline in International and American codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, NACE, EN, ISO, PIP etc…), in design and engineering (10-15+ years), construction and commissioning
• Strong Knowledge of piping materials, metallic and non-metallic
• Working knowledge of welding and corrosion for piping
• Knowledge of safety and environmental aspects of major construction projects.
• Experience in EPC phase of major projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia / Middle East is an advantage.
• Experience with integrated projects and in Joint Venture organizations.
• Ability to adapt to changes and to work in an international multi-cultural project environment, to cope with time pressure in a positive and productive manner
• Excellent interpersonnel skills, rigor and analytical mind.
• Ability to work as a member of a project Team, to liaise, coordinate and positively communicate with the involved different Parties (Contractors, project Entities, Authorities, industrial Investors, nearby Industries, auditors, other disciplines representatives, experts, project people, PMT EPCC packages, etc.), at any level of the organization.
• Knowledge of company, knowledge of Saudi Aramco technical referential is a plus.
• Very good oral and written communication abilities in the English language.

Missions / Service dimensions

The main function of the Senior Piping Specialist Services will be to provide expertise and support to packages and Company entities during the different phases of the project:

• to act as the discipline referent and Specialist Matter Expert for the project specifications & standards, technical referential, Statement Of Requirements, scope and requirements of the discipline,
• to provides the project Organizations with technical support and assistance for the discipline,
• to provide technical answers to assigned technical queries and/or waiver requests for the discipline
• to support the engineering Manager and ECT activities.
