Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for the infrastructure project.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration of mechanical systems with overall project requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to mechanical systems and components.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members and stakeholders.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical systems.
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants involved in the mechanical aspects of the project.
- Review and approve mechanical engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree or higher preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple priorities.
- Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and codes.
