Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to announce an opening for the Senior Development Manager (Olympic Park - Sports & Entertainment). This pivotal role will oversee the development of an Olympic Park that emphasizes sports excellence and entertainment experiences, aimed at positioning Qiddiya as a leading destination for both national and international events.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of the Olympic Park development, ensuring alignment with the vision for world-class sports and entertainment.
- Collaborate with master-planning and master development team
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to create innovative sports facilities and entertainment venues that adhere to international standards.
- Conduct comprehensive market and feasibility studies to inform project viability, strategic direction, and design concepts.
- Manage the project lifecycle from initial concept through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
- Develop strong relationships with local authorities, contractors, and community stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and enhance project outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and best practices throughout the development process.
- Prepare and present regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting milestones, challenges, and performance metrics.
- Support and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree related to Real-Estate Development, Architecture & Engineering
- A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in large-scale project management, specifically in the development of sports complexes or major entertainment venues.
- Must have extensive master-planning and master-development experience
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects from conception to completion.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform project decisions and strategies.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within the Middle East development sector is highly desirable.
