As part of our ongoing growth and commitment to develop a world-class entertainment and cultural destination, Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Design Manager for Civils & Infrastructure (SPA127) for our Sports Assets.
This pivotal role involves managing the design aspects of civil engineering projects and infrastructure development, ensuring they align with our overarching project goals and sustainability objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in infrastructure & civils design management. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the successful integration of civil infrastructure within the broader development framework of Qiddiya's Sports Asset such as Tennis Centres, Golf Courses & other sports and entertainment assets.
Responsibilities
- Provide Infra and civils design management on Sports BU assets working closely with the LDC.
- Ensure coordination of the design and engineering with all disciplines.
- Work closely with the development team to align to budgets and project timescales.
- Manage weekly design meetings.
- Coordinate with the Master developer where required.
- Ensure the assets meet all building codes including City Framework standards and other design standards
- Keep abreast of any changing codes and ensure they are adopted.
- Ensure the consultants meet their deliverables as per the contract.
- Review all drawings / deliverables and approve or comment as required.
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management, site-wide drainage, utility corridors, roads, grading, and site development.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM, GIS, and other infrastructure design tools.
- Excellent project management, coordination, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience in design management, specifically in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Must have experience work on Sports Assets (Golf Courses, Tennis Centers, Arenas etc)
- Strong portfolio illustrating successful project outcomes and innovative design solutions.
- Proficient in design software and tools, including CAD applications and project management software.
- Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to navigate challenges effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving common goals.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and the application of green building principles in design is preferred.
