Responsibilities
- Lead the design and planning of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
- Perform detailed analyses and calculations for various civil design elements, including earthworks, grading, and drainage.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including project specifications, design drawings, and reports.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery and integration.
- Participate in project meetings and present design concepts and updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in design practices, project management, and professional development.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in civil design engineering.
- Proficient in civil engineering design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar applications.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred.
