Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QC Vendor Inspector - Mechanical to join our team in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical components and systems provided by our vendors.
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical parts, components, and systems to verify compliance with specifications, standards, and quality requirements
- Review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports
- Perform “Hold” ’Witness “and "Surveillance” Inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations
- Assist in performing Quality Audits on certain projects
- Collaborate with vendors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical quality control
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and vendors as needed
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Should have valid AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 certifications. Other certifications like NACE or BGAS would be added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical quality control or inspection roles preferably having worked in Fabrication companies
- Should have valid Driving license
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, quality control processes, and inspection techniques
- Experience with vendor management and conducting audits
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to vendor sites as required
