Job Summary:
The PTW Coordinator is responsible for managing, issuing, and controlling the Permit to Work system on-site to ensure all construction and maintenance activities in the Solar/PV project are carried out safely and in compliance with project safety procedures and KSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, review, and approve all PTW requests from contractors and internal teams.
- Ensure all work activities are conducted in accordance with project HSE standards and client requirements.
- Verify that risk assessments, method statements, and safety measures are in place before issuing permits.
- Maintain a daily PTW register and ensure accurate documentation of all permits issued, suspended, or closed.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with PTW conditions.
- Liaise with HSE team, construction supervisors, and project management for safe execution of tasks.
- Stop work immediately in case of unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Provide training and guidance to site personnel on PTW processes and requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as PTW Coordinator in Solar/PV construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of KSA safety regulations and PTW systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, safety documents, and work instructions.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and civil work permit processes.
- NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent HSE qualification preferred
