Manage day-to-day construction supervision of complex infrastructure works, including cable-stayed bridges, road networks, interchanges, and utility integration.
Act as the client’s primary point of contact on-site, ensuring the consultant’s responsibilities are executed with diligence and professionalism.
Lead and coordinate the resident supervision team, including engineers, inspectors, and support staff.
Review and approve contractor submittals, including shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and construction schedules.
Monitor construction progress against approved baseline schedules; highlight delays, assess risks, and initiate corrective measures.
Oversee the implementation of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures across all project disciplines.
Facilitate and document technical meetings, progress meetings, and coordination with contractors, authorities, and utility providers.
Ensure proper site documentation, including daily reports, inspection requests, NCRs, and variation orders.
Review and recommend approval for contractor payment applications, time extension claims, and change requests.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and contractual obligations.
Provide technical guidance and decision-making support to field staff and client representatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field (master’s preferred).
25+ years of experience is a must-have.
Demonstrated experience overseeing cable-stayed bridge and major highway/infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in project tracking tools and site management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, site reporting platforms).
