Port Captain (AHTS Fleet)

• Safety & Compliance:

  Ensure vessels comply with QSMS, ISM, ISPS, and Aramco regulations. Conduct audits and maintain vessel certificates and survey statuses.
• Vessel Operations:

  Coordinate with clients on vessel progress, provide technical support for engineering challenges, and manage logistics for cargo, provisions, and spares.
• Crew Management:

  Conduct competency assessments and provide operational training for Deck Officers, Masters, and Chief Mates.
• Inspections & Reporting:

  Conduct vessel inspections, on-hire surveys, and sea trials. Write comprehensive reports on findings and investigations.
• Emergency Preparedness:

  Be able to replace the Master or other key personnel in emergencies.

• Certifications:

  • Nautical Certificate of Competency for Deck Officer

  • COC First Class Certificate (Foreign going unlimited)

  • Full STCW Certification (including ISM & ISPS as SSO)

  • DPO Certified

  • Marlin Test Certificate

  • GMDSS Endorsement

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of sea service as Master on assigned vessel type.

• Education:

  • Marine Navigation or equivalent.

• Other:

  • Willingness to travel both locally and internationally.
