1. Construction Activities
Supervise piping fabrication, erection, and installation at site as per approved drawings and standards.
Monitor progress of piping works and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Conduct fit-up inspections, alignment checks, and ensure proper welding procedures (WPS/PQR) are followed.
Ensure correct hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, and reinstatement of piping systems.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third-party inspection agencies.
2. Maintenance & Operations Support
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of piping systems.
Perform root cause analysis of failures and recommend corrective actions.
Support plant shutdown/turnaround planning and execution.
Update as-built drawings and ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
3. Quality & Safety Assurance
Ensure compliance with company QA/QC procedures and standards.
Conduct inspections, review NDT reports (RT, UT, PT, MT), and verify compliance.
Enforce strict adherence to HSE guidelines at all times.
Participate in HAZOP and risk assessment studies.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5–10 years of experience in piping engineering in Oil & Gas (construction and maintenance).
Sound knowledge of piping materials, welding techniques, and fabrication methods.
