JOB PURPOSE

To manage and oversee the effective delivery of provisioned IT services and continuous improvement in order to enhance customers’ satisfaction and guide the expansion of IT operations infrastructure to meet anticipated customer requirements within ISE’s policies, processes, procedures and agreed SLAs and/or contractual agreements.

Responsibilities

• The jobholder will be expected to develop and maintain an effective working relationship with Business Operation Group and Management Committee.

• To work closely with the ISE project teams to ensure that the architecture, design, implementation and end results meet the business and customer requirements.

• The jobholder will assist the team in the creation of technical Statements of Work that will enable the project teams to define accurate implementation timescales for all projects.

• The jobholder will be proactive in identifying problem areas as well as opportunities, and making recommendations to the Service Delivery Manager.

• To develop and maintain working relationships with customers and colleagues.

• To constantly investigate and evaluate the business potential of emerging technologies and products.

• The jobholder will be creative in researching, to understand issues and find innovative answers quickly.

• Help the Service Delivery Manager develop an ISE IT services and continuous improvement in order to support customer satisfaction.

• The jobholder will be expected to maintain a good level of knowledge of the applications and technology used within the ISE business environment.

• The jobholder will be expected to assist in the formulation of questions used in business conversations to elicit facts or statements from customers.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in IT is required, Bachelor degree in IT is preferred relevant technical certificates.

• The jobholder should manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations.

• The jobholder will be aware of general business processes and practices.

• The jobholder should have a minimum of 5 – 6 years of experience in years in a similar setup is a must, preferably 3 years in a people management role.

• The jobholder will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• The jobholder should have excellent analytical and technical design skills.

• The jobholder will have a good understanding of network architecture.

• The jobholder will have to communicate with the business and other stakeholders the severity, resolution, and estimated resolution time for issues on critical systems or applications

• The jobholder will be expected to hold, and maintain, valid industry certifications at an intermediate to advanced level. (At: SLAs, OLAs and other KPIs for all identified critical systems). (ITIL Service Operation/Transition)

• The jobholder will have experience in implementing of all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security and disaster recovery.

• The jobholder will have excellent knowledge of best participate in vendor and external service providers price negotiation and oversight of procurement of IT Operations infrastructure hardware, software and services.
