Required COC - III/5 (National or White list)
Minimum 4 years Rank experience with similar type of DP 2 Vessel
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lubricate and maintain engines, pumps, compressors, and other machinery according to prescribed schedules.
- Monitor machinery for any abnormalities such as leaks, unusual noises, or overheating.
- Assist engineers with routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
- Keep engine room and machinery spaces clean and organized.
- Record operational data, such as temperatures, pressures, and oil levels in logbooks.
- Respond to emergencies and assist with troubleshooting mechanical failures.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including pollution prevention measures.
- Support fuel and oil bunkering operations if applicable.
- Perform watchkeeping duties as assigned.
