Position: Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability for hardware, building materials, and construction items.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of products and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions on product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Design and execute visually appealing product displays that enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure merchandising standards are maintained and provide feedback to store teams.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate promotional activities and product launches.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in the construction or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for store visits and industry events.
