The Medical Operations Specialist will support the Medical Affairs department in executing and overseeing core scientific responsibilities. This role involves reviewing and managing medical information requests, supporting scientific events, contributing to evidence generation, and ensuring compliant medical training and documentation across therapeutic areas
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Information Requests Handling
- Respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals through the OCE system
- Evaluate and deliver accurate, evidence-based medical information
- Maintain internal documentation and standardized responses
Scientific Event Management
- Review scientific content for speaker presentations across therapeutic areas
- Ensure medical compliance in scientific meetings, round tables, and internal training events
- Coordinate with Medical Affairs leadership to manage speaker agendas and scientific accuracy
Scientific Evidence Generation
- Support the development of clinical overviews and therapeutic justification documents
- Assist in literature reviews and compilation of medical dossiers
- Work alongside regulatory teams to deliver required clinical support
Medical Training Support
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of internal product and disease training
- Assist in content creation, coordination, and feedback documentation
Required Competencies
- Strong scientific knowledge and ability to interpret clinical literature
- Good understanding of SFDA guidelines, including GCP principles and the Saudi Code of Marketing Practices
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/OCE tools
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience Level
- Preferably 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience within a Medical Affairs function will be considered an added advantage
- Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is highly preferred
