Responsibilities :
- Oversee file-based ingest processes, including hard drives, FTP transfers, SD cards, and camera cards.
- Organize, catalog, and maintain digital media assets using our Media Asset Management system.
- Ensure consistent metadata tagging, file naming conventions, and storage structures.
- Oversee archival processes and the migration of legacy media into digital formats.
- Collaborate with production, editorial, marketing, and legal teams to manage rights and usage compliance.
- Provide support for content search, retrieval, and secure distribution across departments.
- Quality control of material before distribution
- Conduct regular housekeeping of editing workstations, metadata databases and post-production servers
- Troubleshoot operational issues and report any system irregularities to Broadcast IT engineers
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in media, Information Management, computer engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in media asset management and archival work in a broadcasting environment.
- Experience with NLE systems (Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer), AVID Media Central | Production Management and Media Central Platform
- Strong knowledge of MAM systems (e.g., Avid, Dalet, or similar).
- Familiarity with video formats, codecs, and digital media workflows
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays when required
