Responsibilities:
- Inspecting the construction of works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings and submittals.
- In case of non-Compliant procedure, Site Inspector will immediately report to the Engineer and issue SON/NCR.
- Inspecting site conditions prior to start of construction activities.
- Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works, checking for obstructions and ensuring all completed works are kept safe & properly protected.
- Reviewing materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment and report findings.
- Checking that materials delivered to site are properly stored and report discrepancies.
- Preparing daily logs and reports, maintaining records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc.
- Performing all work in accordance with the Client Procedures Manual.
Observing site safety practices and site progress updates and reporting any work related concerns. - Assisting with the inspection of completed works and helping prepare punch/snag lists and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the works. Perform all other duties as assigned by reporting line manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher level of qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge in Treatment Plants and Mechanical Systems
- Strong English communication skills
