Maintenance & Engineering Manager - Dammam, KSA

What you´ll do

• Oversee daily engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring seamless operations, timely issue resolution, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Build and mentor teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive Maintenance and Engineering KPIs focused on safety, quality and performance
• Lead and oversee capital projects and engineering initiatives, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources, as well as planning and executing process improvements.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and standards that ensure optimal performance and efficiency across the site technologies, in collaboration with regional and global team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across plants, regional and global to ensure alignment between functional activities and overall business goals.
Drive operational excellence, using data-driven problem-solving tools to improve equipment uptime and optimize costs, adapting to industry trends and evolving customer needs.

What makes you a good fit

• 7-10 years of experience in engineering and operations management, with a background in leading day to day manufacturing environments such as chemical batch processing and continuous production.
• Strong leadership and capability-building mindset to develop team expertise in maintenance and engineering.
• Experience in capital project management, delivering large-scale engineering projects.
• Engineering graduate with a specialization in electrical, automation, mechanical, or chemical fields.
• Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as Emaint and SAP.
• Proficient in Project Management tools and processes such as MSP, risk matrices, FATs, SATs, CQV.
• Extensive experience using problem-solving tools like fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, A3 reports, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with various mixing technologies such as planetary mixers, sigma mixers, tri-shaft mixers, as well as filling machines such as bottles, drums, and pails.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings including P&IDs, electrical, mechanical, and process flow diagrams.
