Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, preferably in the heavy equipment industry. Minimum One year in Saudi.
Job Description:-
- Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers for heavy equipment and spare parts.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian import/export regulations and customs requirements.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management:
- Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels and implement reordering strategies based on demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for proper storage, handling, and safety of heavy equipment and spare parts.
- Implement inventory tracking systems ERP/HCM to reduce stock discrepancies.
- Logistics & Distribution:
- Plan and execute the transportation of equipment and spare parts within Saudi Arabia and internationally.
- Optimize logistics routes and freight costs to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local transportation laws and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport providers to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
- Demand Planning & Forecasting:
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to forecast demand and ensure stock availability.
- Analyse market trends and historical data to improve procurement and supply chain strategies.
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure accurate documentation for procurement, shipping, and customs clearance.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and supplier contracts.
- Adhere to ISO standards, local labour laws, and safety guidelines.
- Cost Control & Performance Optimization:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs and recommend process improvements.
- Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Work closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Operations, Parts, Service, HR, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination.
- Undertake additional job roll-related tasks as necessary to support the companys mission and operations.
- Carry out additional tasks as requested by management.
