As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring that materials, equipment, and personnel are delivered efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly in the construction or civil engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to facilitate timely delivery of resources for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Coordinate activities across departments to streamline logistics processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor and track logistics performance metrics, addressing any areas of concern promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all logistics operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 15 Years’ experience including 3 years experience on similar Projects with Middle East project experience.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination and operations.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, transportation regulations, and inventory management techniques.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with logistics software and technologies.
- Familiarity with customs procedures and international trade regulations.
