- Coordinate and conduct field inspections and quality checks in collaboration with QA/QC personnel.
- Ensure installation and construction methods meet project requirements, especially in airside-sensitive zones.
- Identify and resolve site-based technical problems and construction conflicts in real time.
- Coordinate with the design team for resolving RFIs (Requests for Information), field design changes, and constructability issues.
- Support in preparing and reviewing method statements and risk assessments.
- Maintain daily site records, progress tracking, and technical logs.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly engineering and progress reports to the construction and planning teams.
- Ensure as-built documentation and redline drawings are properly maintained and submitted.
- Verify material compliance and readiness prior to installation.
- Support site logistics by coordinating the timely delivery and proper storage of materials.
- Assist in tracking material quantities and verifying installation against drawings and BOQs.
- Lead and guide junior field engineers, ensuring proper delegation and oversight of tasks.
- Conduct technical training and promote knowledge-sharing within the engineering team.
- Promote safe work practices and support HSE efforts in the field.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure scope compliance and productivity.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input on construction planning and sequencing.
- Communicate with client representatives during inspections, technical reviews, and walkthroughs.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8 years of field engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or airport/airfield projects is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of civil, structural, and MEP construction processes.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, multi-contractor environments.
- Knowledge of airfield systems (runway, taxiway, apron construction, lighting, drainage, and utilities).
- Familiarity with ICAO and FAA standards related to airfield construction.
- Certification in construction safety or field engineering (e.g., PMP, PE, or equivalent).
- Experience working in a multicultural, multilingual workforce environment.
- Fluency in English and knowledge of other regional languages is an advantage.
