General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and management of completed construction projects that are now in their operational phase.
- Support project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Conduct site visits to monitor service delivery performance of MEP, Civil/Structural, Cleaning/Landscaping contractors in accordance with their contracts and to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Analyse and interpret site reports from contractors as to their performance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, and invoices
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Experience required will be either between 2 years and up to 5 years
- Familiarity with construction processes, methods, and materials
- Familiarity with building services systems
- Familiarity with understanding contracts and their performance clauses
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Engineering software tools, such as CAD (computer-aided design) and Project Management tools such as Primavera
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
