- Interface Coordination: Act as the focal point for interface management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Interface Identification: Identify critical interfaces between different project components, disciplines, and organizations, and develop strategies to manage potential conflicts or issues.
- Interface Planning: Develop comprehensive interface management plans outlining roles, responsibilities, communication protocols, and escalation procedures to ensure timely resolution of interface-related issues.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify interface risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor interface activities, track progress, and provide regular updates to project management teams on the status of interface-related tasks and milestones.
- Conflict Resolution: Facilitate resolution of interface conflicts and disputes through negotiation, mediation, or escalation to higher authorities as necessary.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of interface-related communications, agreements, and decisions, and prepare periodic reports for project management and stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and quality requirements in all interface management activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement in interface management practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in interface management roles on road, bridge, highway, and tunnel projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing interfaces between different stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, with experience in site supervision and construction oversight.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
