Head Consumer Marketing GCC

Job Summary
The incumbent is responsible for developing and executing the consumer marketing strategy to drive brand growth, market share, and consumer engagement across the GCC region. This senior leadership role will oversee brand management, category development, consumer insights, integrated marketing campaigns, and digital strategy to ensure strong market positioning and sustainable growth in the B2C segment. The role requires a deep understanding of the oils and fats industry, regional consumer behavior, marketing trends, and regulatory landscapes. The incumbent will lead a team of marketing professionals, collaborate cross-functionally, and play a critical role in elevating brand equity and driving long-term consumer loyalty in the GCC.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Deliver revenue and profitability targets in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives for the GCC region.
  • Strengthen key consumer KPIs such as top-of-mind awareness, brand usage, and market penetration through data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Create and execute brand and activity plans consistent with overall brand strategy and growth objectives.
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, Technical, Procurement, and other internal teams to support brand requirements and ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead the timely launch of new products in line with market needs and innovation strategy, ensuring marketing readiness and consumer relevance.
  • Plan and expedite integrated ATL and BTL marketing activities in alignment with brand plans and campaign timelines.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to ensure product availability, visibility, and adequate stock depth across channels and markets.
  • Conduct regular visits to domestic and export markets to assess brand performance, gather insights, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, recommend timely price adjustments, and monitor brand financial performance to protect margins.
  • Ensure flawless execution of all core marketing responsibilities and maintain high standards of brand management and team performance.
KPIs
  • Achievement of annual revenue and profit targets
  • Improvement in brand health metrics (TOMA, usage, penetration)
  • Market share growth across GCC and export markets
  • Successful and timely launch of NPDs
  • ROI and effectiveness of ATL/BTL marketing campaigns
  • Digital marketing performance (reach, engagement, conversion)
  • Stock availability and visibility in key markets (in coordination with Sales)
  • Timely price optimization and cost management initiatives
  • Execution of marketing plans as per brand calendar
  • Team performance and development of marketing capability
Work experience requirement
  • 10 yrs. of relevant experience in FMCG in Consumer Marketing.
  • Strong experience in ME , Levant & Asia
Qualification
  • MBA preferred or international degree in Business Management/ Marketing or equivalent
