About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef specializing in Iranian and Iraqi cuisine to lead a unique culinary concept at The Groves in Riyadh. This role is ideal for a chef with deep cultural understanding, strong leadership skills, and passion for authentic Middle Eastern flavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage kitchen operations for the Iranian/Iraqi concept
- Develop and refine traditional and modern menu items
- Ensure authentic preparation methods and top-quality ingredients
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in preparation and presentation
- Control kitchen inventory, cost, and hygiene standards
- Work closely with operations and procurement teams
- Maintain high standards in cleanliness and food safety
- Innovate seasonal dishes and menu updates based on guest feedback
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–7 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years as Head Chef
- Specialized in Iranian and/or Iraqi cuisine (traditional and contemporary)
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
- Previous experience in high-end restaurants, hotels, or events is preferred
- English speaking is required (Arabic is a plus)
- Familiar with HACCP and Saudi food safety standards
