Graphic Designer - responsible for developing and building content with consistent branding across Self Storage. Involves creative thinking, building briefs to be able to achieve the best outcome, being open to critical feedback and being bold and willing to try new ideas.
Key responsibilities
· Through collaboration, discussion and creative thinking with marketing and communication - develop and finalize briefs for creative concepts.
· Present and explain design rationale to colleagues through clear communications and be open to receiving constructive feedback
· Design and produce animated and still marketing materials, incorporating video footage where possible, on a range of assets including large format, posters, adverts, campaign and social media assets, events collateral, merchandise, infographics, website, company magazine and e-news assets. Outdoor signage, livery branding and exhibition materials.
· Seek to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of design work, particularly in artwork and asset management
· Manage print, photography, and image libraries contacts, ensuring the best value is achieved through liaising and negotiating with suppliers
· Be a proactive team player through regular meetings and manage workflow against business priorities, using e.g. Trello for internal management and communications
· Manage file storage ensuring all design related files are suitably stored and backed up, with historical archive being protected
· Remain acquainted with the latest technology and trends in graphics, motion graphics, digital manipulation, and print
· Adhere to the Company’s confidentiality policy
Requirements
Be able to demonstrate knowledge Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects
Have confident art working skills and attention to detail
previous experience in a busy workplace and be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask are vital
