Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving financial performance.
- Lead and manage all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banquet services
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create exciting menus and ensure high-quality food presentation
- Oversee inventory management, cost control, and budgeting for the F&B department
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to optimize operations and profitability
- Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
- Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices in F&B management
- Work closely with other departments to support overall hotel operations and special events
- Respect and incorporate local cultural sensitivities in F&B offerings and service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or related field; advanced degree or additional certifications in F&B management, wine, or culinary arts are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in F&B management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role at a luxury hotel or high-volume F&B establishment
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving financial performance
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house functions
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and F&B POS systems
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional language skills are an advantage
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian cuisine and cultural norms
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency in service delivery
