We are looking for a talented candidate who will provide EA cross domain/discipline governance, assurance and architecture frameworks and internal consultancy across all of our digital solutions that require to be delivered to the benefit of our clients.
Other responsibilities are to:
- Managing and delivering the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture that is cross-domain and cross-functional, based on business and IT strategy and requirements.
- Promoting the business value of EA as an enabler of strategy formulation and as support for technology innovation, which drives the organization’s top and bottom lines.
- Establishing EA as a service (EA-as-a-Service) capability to drive EA across multiple sectors and disciplines internally and externally.
- Executing the plan for the enterprise architecture based on business and digital strategy and requirements using a business-led approach, with the ability to build business cases that help secure funding for different initiatives.
- Building business capabilities and assessing the maturity of the architecture landscape with gap analysis, extending this to internal management and external consultancy.
- Building architecture libraries of capabilities, skills, and tech inventory; supporting a plan to close the skills gap while finding the balance between technical, behavioral, business, and operating model skills.
- Building value streams and leveraging viable system models to design effective organizations.
- Overseeing EA practices, governance, continuous improvement, and ongoing refinement activities, using EA to shape portfolio management and programme management.
- Managing the documentation of all architecture artefacts and analysis work, with the ability to justify the EA artefacts' value through ROI, highlighting direct and indirect benefits.
- Supporting and delivering on solution architecture as capacity within the team demands.
- Supporting the Technology Leadership Team to build and maintain relationships with other business units and clients, orchestrating the delivery of critical digital projects, and contributing to the overall delivery of the digital portfolio.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience working with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
- Understanding of TOGAF 9, Zachman, and NORA.
- Working experience of the different types of agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
- Understanding of existing, new, and emerging technologies, and processing environments.
- Ability to balance the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications of individual decisions and organization goals, applying business capability and value stream thinking when solving problems.
- Working experience in public cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent understanding of what AI can do and should do in the business domain.
- Ability to translate business needs into EA requirements and practices.
- Working knowledge of Customer Value Management.
- Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems that are cross-domain and cross-functional.
- Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
- Capable and comfortable with balancing time between foundational EA and vanguard EA efforts concerned with business and operating model design, technology innovation, speed, agility, and flexibility to achieve a unified and flexible EA that meets the organization’s needs.
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), APIs, microservices, event-driven IT, and advanced analytics, including mobile, custom development, RPA, and ERP systems.
- Cross-domain and cross-functional experience to effectively bridge multiple business areas and technologies.

- 13 years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis.
- 10 or more years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
