Engineer, Traffic Control

Engineer, Traffic Control plays a critical role in traffic control design and planning for construction or maintenance projects. They are responsible for proper design of traffic control safety and efficiency ensuring the safety and smooth traffic flow, He supervise a team of traffic design draftsmen, and technicians and maintaining compliance with safety regulations and standards. Effective communication, leadership, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

10. Principal Accountabilities: (the 6-9 main areas of responsibility)

Traffic & Detour Projects

• Design and review traffic control drawings.
• Arrange and Prepare detour drawings as required.
• Coordinate the resource across different projects.
• Implements Traffic Management plans, from macro down to detailed plans which may include signage, markings, lane stripping and related
• Calculating detour As-Built Quantities of Signboards, NJB, Pipe Posts, Cat eyes, Ceramic & Road Marking Paint
• Arrange and prepare all document related to Detour Work (Print drawings, Archive documents etc.)
• Prepare the material list from final approved design drawing with items code and details.
• follow with all related detour site works are done according to the approved design and in coordination with construction team
• Collaborate with other planners, engineers and other related agencies to develop and implement comprehensive traffic or transportation plans.
• Conduct Field inspections / site visits to ensure the traffic design is exec

• Make sure all traffic and detour designs are compliant to safety standards, environmental and relevant traffic regulations’
• Reporting all issues to direct manager.
